There are two obstacles for commercial players seeking to enter the space industry: the cost of launch rockets and building the satellite. While satellite minimization is the key to tackle both issues, the attitude control system, among all sub-systems, is the only remaining system that cannot be shrunk due to the logical limits of physical laws. By adopting Tensor Tech’s spherical motor solution, the weight, size, and power consumption of the ADCS are reduced by 2/3 compared with traditional systems. Furthermore, our technology could enable the space industry with wider commercial applications by enabling satellite missions to further reduce costs and carry more payloads.
